Cabins

As a member of Velferden in Ny-Ålesund you have access to sevral beautiful and exotic cabins. Check the cabin list on the velferden info board in servicebygget to book a cabin and see if there’s anything you need to bring. Scroll down to see the cabin list PDF.

Most of the cabins are equipped with a gas stove and a selection of gracefully used kitchenware. Before you visit a cabin make sure that you know what’s there. Maybe you need to bring wood, gas or candles.

Kjærsvika has a sweet view of Prins Karls Forland. I slept here once with some friends, we had pancakes for breakfast. It was messy. 10/10 would do it again though!
